PURPOSE STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Vodacom Tanzania is the leading operator in the country in enterprise solutions offering Mobile, fix and converged solutions including 2G, 3G, WiMax, Micro – wave and fiber optic.
The incumbent will be responsible for Leadership, P&L, Account Relationships, OpCo Relationships, and Team Development of an inbound VGE Sales Vodacom Tanzania. The incumbent will also ensure that sales targets are met through selling into new accounts and further penetrating existing accounts within Tanzania.

Delivers against annual targets on Revenue and TCV while keeping operational expenses of team to budgeted levels.
Ensure that Enterprise product portfolio, sales promotions and sales communications are relevant for team
Customers, supplier and third parties
Personal involvement to win and retain large / complex accounts and develop / maintain strategic customer relationships
Ensures Net Promoter Scores (NPS) for accounts are met / exceeded
Leadership and teamwork
Attracts and enables Sales Talents to grow by creating opportunities in sales team
Ensures Sales Teams are motivated and that accounts and opportunities are allocated to maximize revenue growth
Ensures diversity and attrition targets within sales teams are met
Innovation and change
Helps create new revenue streams from new products, via partnerships and by selling through accounts
Guarantees team’s compliance with Sales methods & tools (i.e. SFDC quality) to ensure alignment with other teams and functions
Outstanding communicator able to motivate team, build beneficial customer relationships and able to convince internal stakeholders
Responsible for interactions at all levels within Vodacom Tanzania to ensure full alignment and support provided
Knowledge and experience;
Provide and direct mobile communications 'thought leadership', to the industry sector and internally within Vodacom
Ensure appropriate training is provided to and completed by all team members and that these skills are applied in daily operations
2 yrs+ experience leading sales teams of at least 10
Proven Sales Success; min 5 yrs
Annual sales / financial plans (e.g. 9+15, 5+7)
Experience in solution sales and relationship management (Track record of global accounts/enterprise solution selling) within multi-national companies
Experience in identifying customer requirements and developing creative and innovative customer-centric solutions with an international context.
Demonstrated success in networking at senior levels amongst industry leaders with strong relationship management skills
Demonstrated understanding of important financial concepts, the IT&T environments, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of corporate customers
Ability to work and manage in an ambiguous/changing environment.
Proactive, self-motivated, ability to work independently, prepared to cold-call
