IT Associate.   

You will be joining the finance and Department, in Morogoro reporting to the Manager     

This position is responsible

Managing the deployment and maintenance of all client hardware and business application support by providing primary support for end-user, computing-needs.

Central IT infrastructural-support by ensuring availability of IT infrastructure services including servers, centralized UPS, JTI network connectivity (LAN and WiFi) to both Dar-es-Salaam, Morogoro, and Tabora and providing required support office relocations/extensions.

Improving IT solutions and processes by proactively looking for potential business improvements, evaluation of existing best IT related practices (inside/outsjde JTI), providing recommendations for implementations within the company, ensuring implemented solutions are cost effective and support the business functions in relation to technical infrastructure and customer services and implementation of the JTL corporate IT environment including migration of new operating systems, MS office, email, mobile and remote solutions.

Compliance with and methodology in the area of technical infrastructure and customer support by ensuring customer compliance handling, encouraging self-report of IT issues to JTI single point of contact (Global Service Desk) to be resolved on time, manage expectations and building strong internal and external-relationships to improve end-user effectiveness,

Coordinate and support local reports development according to business demands by analyzing Global Leaf Point application and its associated database structure.

Management of IT assets by ensuring accurate management of IT assets inventory (update assets and register regularly), renewals, disposals and licenses for software and hardware products (servers, computers, computer accessories, printers and other peripherals)' perform hardware repair and maintenance. in line with manufacturer's recommendation and underpinning contracts.

JTI Workplace Security compliance by ensuring all end user systems have up-to-date anti-virus patches by proactively keeping up to date with JTI workplace compliance reports' and apply fix on resulting issues and Bit locker drive encryption for all laptops before user allocation,


Key requirements
University Degree or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science, strong IT background (additional business education is a plus).

1 year of experience in IT field, preferably in multinational companies.
Familiarity with ITIL standards is added advantage.

Fluent in spoken and written English and Swahili.

Good working knowledge of: Desktop & Server equipment, data centers, TCP/IP, Microsoft operating systems and MS office applications, Microsoft collaboration tools (Exchange, Share Point, Lync, etc); IT service desk related software, like Service Now or similar; knowledge of mobile as ( IOS, Android) is a plus; basic business process analysis skills and basic software development skills on Microsoft platforms.

Understanding of the tobacco industry and business processes is an advantage 

Motorcycle Associate.

You will be joining the Human Resources Department, in Tabora, reporting to the Fleet Coordination Supervisor.

This position is responsible for:

Supervising technicians on proper use of vehicles to enable them to reach their expected useful life and ensuring all company motorcycles are in good condition, well serviced and maintained as per company guidelines.
Monitor the efficiency of all motorbikes in Tabora by supervising repair and maintenance to ensure quality, professional and standard service is delivered and make follow-ups on payments by corresponding to external vendors.

Preparing time variety of periodic and special reports by managing all activities related to fleet motorcycles so as to brief the fleet on issues regarding tracking systems, costs of repairs, irregularities of wear and tear and accidents.

Monitor fleet functions and controls by reporting fuel usage, vehicle abuse, tyre usage, durability and safety and preparing a monthly replacement schedule for tyres.

Updating the Rod base system by posting and doing a follow-up of related documents including proforma invoices, tax invoices and purchase orders as required by the fleet administration for use of developing corrective action as appropriate.

Compliance with all JTI essential safety regulations by supporting and maintaining the entire car fleet in Tabora ensuring cars are well used, have monthly check ups and are doing follow-ups to report all irregularities for repair.

Key requirements
Degree/Advanced Diploma in in Human resources/Administration or any relevant course,
1/2 years of work experience in administration.
Fluency in both English and Kiswahili.
