EFC Microfinance Is Hiring for 5 Positions-Deadline 20th June!



EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

EFC is a microfinance bank that provides financial services, including loan and deposits, to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals. I. COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR (I POST)
Reporting to the Managing Director and part of the Management Team of the bonk, the candidate needs to independent develop, implement commercial strategies and deliver financial results. He/she needs to be result oriented and be able to motivate the commercial teams, propose product development and marketing strategies.
The candidate needs to be customer focused and have a thorough understanding of the Tanzanian microfinance market. He/she must be a team-player that con motivate the commercial staff, having a proven experience of 5 years as commercial director or equivalent, excellent organizational and leadership skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities and a BSc/BA in business administration, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus

2. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (I post)
The Executive Assistant supports the Managing Director on all administrative and organisational matters. Activities include the organisation of (Board) meetings, taking minutes, writing letters, document filing and management as well as various secretarial tasks. The candidate needs to have strong social skills, can work under pressure and will contribute to good working relations with all staff. She/he should be highly motivated to help building a successful bank and have a master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or law. A minimum of three year's working relevant experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office, good organisational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili. A test is likely to form part of the recruitment process.

3. HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER (1 post)
The candidate will support the Human Resources Manager and work closely with Head Office and Branch/Department Managers in HR consultancy role. He/she is required to understand and implement the bank's HR policies and ensure compliance with HR policies, practices and standards. The candidate is expected to have a Human Resources Diploma/Degree, 2 years of working relevant experience, on ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. He/she has problem solving skills and a strong day-to-day leadership presence.

4. SALES AGENT (1 post)
The Sales Agent will work with EFC's Temeke Branch and assist the Branch Manager with opening accounts, promotions both inside as well as outside the branch. The candidate needs to be welcoming, enthusiastic, commercial, result driven with excellent customer focus. As EFC will grow and develop more products and services, the Sales Agent's tasks will expand. He/she is expected to have excellent product knowledge of EFC's products. The candidate is expected to have a College Diploma in Business related studies, strong interpret al skills and good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet sales targets and deadlines. No previous work experience is required.

5. RECEPTIONIST (1 post)
The bank's Receptionist will be located at EFC Head Office to provide a friendly and professional welcome and assistance to visitors and answers the telephone. He/she provides secretarial and administrative support as required and keeps the office supplies stocked and records up-to-date. The candidate has to maintain a welcoming, clean and professional working environment at all times. He/she must have a certificate in Business Administration and a minimum of one year of related experience, strong people/relationship skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili. Knowledge of admiJ1istrative and clerical procedures as well as knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
